Bell Helmets – Official Helmet Partner at the 417 Project

Bell Helmets are excited to announce they will be the official helmet partner of the 417 Project. Bell Helmets is an industry leader in helmet technology, and will be supplying the staff, team, and rental helmets for the 417 Project. With such a wide range of facilities for riders to enjoy at the 417 Project, Bell Helmets are the perfect partner with a range of helmets for everyone from the pump track rider, to the all mountain enthusiast, DH racer, and everyone in-between. The 417 Project staff will wear the Bell Super 2 MIPS and Full 9 helmets, while the rental helmets will include Bell Segments, Stokers, Supers, and Transfer 9 helmets. Many of these will also include MIPS technology.

Jonathan Sherwood (Head of UK Marketing) said, “We have worked with the guys from FlyUp for a number of years now, and when they approached us about the 417 Project we were really excited to be a part of it. The venue looks set to be one of the best and most complete bike parks in the UK, and with a list of facilities that are perfectly aligned to our helmet range, we felt there was a great opportunity for the two brands to work together.”

Cara Murray (General Manager, 417 Project) added, “Bell are one of the leading providers of cycle helmets, and to have their support for the 417 Project is amazing. Flyup have worked with Bell for many years and it’s great to be working alongside them with our new venture. The helmets are awesome, and with the new MiPS technology on board they are really setting a standard for head injury prevention – which is something we are very passionate about. You’ll see all our staff rocking their new helmets, and if your in need of a lid when you visit the project you can be sure your head will be well protected and in the safe hands of a Bell helmet.”

Alongside this partnership the 417 Project and Bell Helmets will also work together to present a brand new MTB event this summer. “Bell Roost Rockers” will see the much loved dual slalom race format return to the UK this June. The event will be a new stop on the Bell Ride Free event calendar, and will give riders the opportunity to go head to head with their mates in the much loved dual slalom format. All the usual good times associated with the Bell Ride Free events will also be included, so we hope to see you all at the 417 Project this summer!
